With two new volunteer teachers, Yoga for the People now has weekly classes at two new Bridge Project sites for 3rd-5th graders! Holly Rom is teaching at the Bridge Project located in the South Lincoln neighborhood, while Leigh Suskin is teaching in the Columbine neighborhood. Both classes have over 12 energetic and excited kids, all ready to practice yoga. During one class at Columbine, the kids tried to hold tripod pose as long as they could. One boy held it for almost five minutes! His concentration and determination were amazing.

A big THANK YOU goes out to CorePower Yoga and Vital Yoga who donated the mats for these two new classes. Now the kids all have a mat that they can use every week!

It is great to hear that yoga is being taught in the community to children. Yoga for the people sounds like a wonderful group of people.
