YFP is a non-profit organization that provides free accessible yoga practices to the Metro Denver Area!
Yoga: The word yoga can be translated to the verb "to Yoke" or to connect opposites together. "Yoke" is a frame fitted to shoulders to carry a load in two equal portions. Yoga is a practice that empowers the spirit to balance the mind and body.
For : To be connected with, to be given or to receive, to help, in support of. "For" represents a reciprocal relationship of giving and receiving. We believe in learning together as community to ensure equity in yoga and mindfulness practices.
The People : ALL human beings in a collective or community that represents all faiths, ages, bodies, incomes, races, cultures, sexual orientations and genders.
